VK9 Willis Island DXpedition |

After a very successful DXpedition to Norfolk Island in February 2007 with over 60.000 QSOs logged under VK9DNX the activation of Willis Island is planned for October 2008. The same experienced team from VK9DNX (DJ7EO, DJ9RR, DL1MGB, DL3DXX, DL5LYM, DL6FBL, DL8OH and DL8WPX) will be QRV with four high power stations for about 17 days from 160m to 10m in CW, SSB and RTTY.
The landing permission is granted, the license is expected to be issued the next days and a suitable charter vessel is secured.
