Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2009
I'd like to take this time to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas.
This is a season of giving, peace, understanding and goodwill among all. I hope that this Christmas will find you among friends and family with good food, good times, and good memories. And I hope too that Santa lines the bottom of your Christmas tree with all the Amateur Radio goodies that it can hold!
Wish you a very happy new year, many nice DX contacts, a lot of pleasure with our hobby and see You in 2009 again!

Do You remember a 9M0C, D68C and 3B9C DXpeditions? Especially D68C and 3B9C are holders of many DXpeditions records. The Five Star DXers Association, FSDXA, will mount a large multi-operator, multi-station DXpedition to St Brandon, 3B7, in September 2007.
They are planning to have 12 stations. There will be a station on every band from 160m to 6m with second stations on 80m and 20m so that we can operate on CW and SSB at the same time.
3B7C team are taking 14 transmitting antennas as follows:
6m: 7 el Yagi Trident TA6M7LDX
10m: 6 el Yagi Force 12 EF-610
12m: 4 el Yagi Force 12 EF-412
15m: 4 el Yagi Force 12 EF-415
17m: 4el Yagi Force12 EF-417
20m: 3 el Yagi Cushcraft 203CD for SSB
20m: 3 el Yagi Trident TA20M3L for CW
20m: Pair of Trident phased verticals
30m: 2 el Yagi Trident TA30M2L
30m: Pair of phased verticals
40m: Four-square with elevated radials
80m: Pair of Titanex V80S phased verticals for SSB
80m: Pair of Titanex V80S phased verticals for CW
160m: Titanex V160S 85 foot vertical
In addition to the above they will have a number of receiving antennas including Beverages, loops, dipoles etc. We hope to experiment with a new design for LF reception.
For the operation are prepared the new FT-2000 transceivers along with the well-proven Quadra linear amplifiers.
Latest news says that the container for St Brandon is shipped. 3B7C will be active from 07-24 September 2007
