I'd like to take this time to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas.

Dani, EA4ATI, informs OPDX that he has moved from Senegal (6W) to the Dominican Republic (HI), where he has been for the past few months. He has received the callsign HI5/EA4ATI and his location is Pedernales, the last city on the southwest end of Dominican Republic on the border with Haiti (HH).
QSL is via his home callsign. For the time being, Dani has only a dipole antenna and 100 watts, but he will make some noise during the next CQ Wide World DX SSB Contest with the HI3CCP team. They will use the callsign HI3C
